The Salomon Czar is most at home on the kind of technical terrain that other skis quiver at the thought of. A dramatic rocker tip makes this ski primarily a powder model, the Czar isn’t so wide that it can’t be taken out of the snowfields and into the woods. This advanced intermediate to expert ski garnered a lot of positive comments from our testers. “The Czar really stands out from the pack. So many skis over the past couple of years just feel the same as one another… flat, wide and lifeless. The Czar is different – it hasn’t forgotten what’s fun about skiing.”
