Icelantic’s flagship all-mountain model, the Pilgrim doesn’t stand apart from the brand’s other skis – it’s shorter, fatter, and lighter than many other all mountain skis. This wide ski floats nicely in deeper snow (thanks to the wide shovel and 90mm underfoot), but still has a relatively small 17m turning radius. Stiffer than many other skis of this width, the Pilgrim also handles hard snow with ease, and is capable at higher speeds. But the added stability comes at a cost – many testers complained that it was sluggish and heavy feeling in the park.
All in all, it’s a versatile all mountain ski that transitions well between varying snow conditions in bounds, but steer clear if you spend a lot of time in the park.

ICELANTIC PILGRIM // WHAT THEY SAID
“It’s short, but stiff enough to be stable at high speeds.”
“A great choice for freeskiers who spend most of their time in bounds. The short lengths make it really nimble and a lot of fun.”
