The Kuro takes the cake as the fattest set of powder boards in Volkl’s 2011 lineup. These are beasts, made for deep backcountry conditions and high-mountain environments. “Don’t listen to the hype – these are fantastic powder skis, but they have no place in-bounds.” Other reviewers seemed to agree – “great, but not if you ever need an edge.”
