The Mantra is Volkl’s flagship all mountain ski. This beast is designed to move with ease from the deep stuff to hardpack. It does everything well. No ski does everything perfectly, but the Mantra comes pretty close. Handles very well in powder, which it’s primarily designed for, but also holds its own on harder snow. It’s a great backcountry ski for skiers who may hit varied conditions or re-enter through groomed resort trails.
